  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, grated
  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato puree
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt until everything is well combined.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to your marinade, ensuring each piece is fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour; overnight is even better.
  3. In a large pan over medium heat, melt butter and add your chopped onions. Sauté them until they turn golden brown.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
  5. Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook for about 8-10 minutes until it's cooked through.
