Ingredients

Scale
  • 30 Oreo Cookies (wafers and filling)
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 24 oz cream cheese (full-fat, brick style)
  • 1 and 1/4 cups white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Wrap a 9-inch springform pan in aluminum foil to prevent water from seeping in.
  2. In a bowl, mix crushed Oreo cookies with melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add cocoa powder, cornstarch, sour cream, and eggs; mix until fully combined.
  4. Pour the filling over the crust. Place the springform pan in a larger baking dish filled with hot water.
  5. Bake for about 50 minutes until just set but slightly jiggly in the center. Cool gradually in the oven for an hour.
  6. Refrigerate overnight before serving.
  7. For the topping, melt chocolate with heavy cream over low heat; drizzle over slices before serving.
