  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until browned (5-7 minutes) and remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil and stir-fry the green beans for about 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet; sauté for one minute until fragrant.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet. Whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes in a bowl; pour over everything in the skillet. Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve warm over cooked rice or noodles.
