  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp ground cinnamon (for swirl)
  • Optional: ½ cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your Bundt pan thoroughly.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually mix this into the butter mixture alternately with sour cream until just combined.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared Bundt pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over it (add walnuts if desired), then layer the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Gently swirl with a knife.
  5. Bake for about 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
  6. Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
