  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 10 whole cloves garlic
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 teaspoons Italian seasonings
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 1 beef bouillon cube (or 1 tsp better than bouillon)
  • 1 teaspoon low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon mustard powder
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasonings. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and brown the chicken until golden on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté garlic cloves until golden brown.
  3. Stir in flour, then gradually add chicken broth while whisking continuously until slightly thickened.
  4. Add bouillon cube, soy sauce, onion powder, thyme, and mustard powder; simmer briefly.
  5. Lower heat, stir in butter and heavy cream, then return the chicken to the skillet to warm through. Optionally sprinkle with additional Parmesan before serving.
