  • 5 ½ oz white chocolate (finely chopped)
  • ¼ cup double cream
  • 3 ½ oz unsalted ground pistachios
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 ½ oz kataifi pastry (chopped and separated)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 9 oz milk chocolate (finely chopped)
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ⅔ cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add vegetable oil and water to the dry ingredients; mix until smooth.
  3. Let the batter rest for about 30 minutes.
  4. Cook thin strands on a nonstick pan until set but pale; toast them until golden.
  5. Microwave white chocolate with double cream until melted; blend with ground pistachios.
  6. Combine toasted kataifi with the pistachio mixture and chill for one hour.
  7. Roll the chilled mixture into small balls.
  8. Dip each ball in melted milk chocolate and let set in the refrigerator.
