  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme (minced)
  • 1/81/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • â…“ cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Cut the garlic bulb in half, drizzle with olive oil, wrap in foil, and roast for about 45 minutes until soft.
  2. Squeeze out roasted garlic onto a cutting board and mash into a paste.
  3. In a skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add mashed garlic, rosemary, thyme, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper; stir until bubbly.
  4. Gradually mix in heavy cream until thickened; stir in parmesan cheese and simmer for another minute.
