  • 2 cups diced onion
  • 2 cups diced celery
  • 3 teaspoons poultry seasoning

  • 1/2 teaspoon sage
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1½ cups chicken broth
  • 2 large eggs
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the bread cubes by cutting them into pieces and letting them dry overnight.
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Sauté the diced onions and celery until soft.
  3. In a large bowl, combine sautéed vegetables with bread cubes, poultry seasoning, thyme, sage, salt, black pepper, chicken broth, and whisked eggs.
  4. Transfer to a greased baking dish. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake until golden brown.
