  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup sliced white mushrooms
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil (optional)

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 450°F. In a saucepan, combine tomato sauce, salt, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and heat over low for about 5 minutes.
  2. 2. Stretch prepared dough into a circle on your pizza stone.
  3. 3. Spoon the warm sauce onto the dough, leaving about an inch around the edge.
  4. 4. Create a spiderweb design with shredded mozzarella by making lines across the sauce.
  5. 5. Prepare mushroom slices by cutting small lines at the bottom and poking holes to resemble skulls.
  6. 6. Place mushroom skulls on top of the pizza and bake for approximately 10 minutes until golden brown.
  7. 7. Slice fresh mozzarella into ghost shapes and add them after the initial bake; return to the oven for an additional couple of minutes.
  8. 8. Garnish with fresh basil if desired before serving.
