  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix 5 cups of sliced peaches with 1 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and 2 teaspoons lemon juice. Let sit.
  3. In another bowl, combine 1 cup flour, 1 cup granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  4. Pour melted butter into a baking dish and add the milk and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter over the butter without stirring. Spoon the peach mixture on top.
