Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Mix in eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg (if using), and salt together; gradually add to wet mixture until combined.
  5. Fold in rolled oats evenly into the batter.
