  • 1 1/2 cups chopped Kit Kat bars
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar (for cream cheese layer)
  • 1 egg (for cream cheese layer)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract; mix well.
  3. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder; mix until just combined.
  4. Fold in chopped Kit Kat pieces gently into the batter.
  5. In another bowl, beat cream cheese with granulated sugar and egg until smooth.
  6. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Spoon dollops of the cream cheese mixture on top and swirl gently with a knife.
  7. Top with remaining brownie batter and sprinkle more Kit Kat pieces on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool completely before slicing.
