Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 head of cabbage
  • 1 lb ground meat (beef, pork, turkey, etc.)
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup beef or vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Remove the core from the cabbage and place it in a pot of boiling water for a few minutes to soften the leaves. Remove and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground meat, onion, and garlic until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  4. Add cooked rice and half of the tomato sauce to the meat mixture. Stir to combine.
  5. Carefully peel off cabbage leaves and place a spoonful of the meat mixture on each leaf. Roll up the leaves, tucking in the sides.
