  • 4 6 oz. Salmon Filets
  • 2 tsp Cornstarch
  • 4 tsp Water
  • 2/3 cup Orange Juice
  • 1 tsp Orange Zest
  • 1/3 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Ginger (minced)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp Sesame Oil
  • Sesame Seeds (optional)
  • Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
  • Chopped Green Onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry. Combine it with orange juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced ginger, and garlic in a saucepan. Simmer on low for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with lightly oiled foil.
  3. Place the salmon on the baking sheet and baste generously with half of the teriyaki sauce.
  4. Bake for about 14 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. Baste again with remaining sauce and broil for 1 minute for added color.
  6. Serve over steamed rice and garnish as desired.
