  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless chicken (preferably dark meat)
  • 67 tablespoons corn starch
  • 2 tablespoons garlic-ginger-onion mix
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon chilli powder
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 34 slices ginger
  • 56 green chillies (adjust based on heat preference)
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons corn starch mixed with water

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken with garlic-ginger-onion mix, black pepper, chilli powder, soy sauce, and water for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Chop green pepper and onions into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Coat marinated chicken with corn starch.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat and fry coated chicken until golden brown (about 5-7 minutes).
  5. In a separate pan, sauté ginger, garlic, and onions until fragrant.
  6. Add fried chicken back into this pan along with chopped veggies, sauces, honey, corn starch mixture, and water; stir well.
  7. Cook until everything is heated through; serve hot.
