  • pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: red-pepper flakes, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, toasted almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Rinse and halve the Brussels sprouts, then pat them dry.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and optional red-pepper flakes.
  3. Add the halved Brussels sprouts to the bowl and toss until evenly coated. Arrange them cut-side down on a rimmed baking sheet.
