  • 1/4 cup oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce
  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs (cut into 1-inch chunks)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Freshly grated ginger
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons canola oil
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • 2 green onions (thinly sliced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix oyster sauce, ketchup, honey, chili garlic sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
  2. Reserve 1/3 cup of the marinade and add the chicken chunks to the remaining marinade in a Ziploc bag. Seal and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat grill to medium heat. Thread marinated chicken onto skewers and brush with canola oil; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Grill kabobs for about 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F, brushing with reserved marinade during the last few minutes.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
