  • 1½ tbsp grainy mustard
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (divided)

  • 2 tsp kosher salt (divided)
  • ½ tsp pepper (divided)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp poultry seasoning

Instructions

  1. Trim silver skin from the beef tenderloin.
  2. Combine seasonings and rub onto tenderloins; let sit for at least 45 minutes.
  3. Sauté sliced onions in olive oil and butter until caramelized (about 45 minutes).
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Prepare maple mustard sauce and set aside.
  5. Sear seasoned tenderloins in a hot skillet until browned on all sides.
