Ingredients
Scale
14 oz box white cake mix
2 boxes (3.5 oz each) instant cheesecake pudding mix
3 1/2 cups milk
8 oz tub Cool Whip whipped topping
Patriotic sprinkles
Gel food coloring in red and blue
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Prepare the white cake mix according to package directions. Divide the batter into three bowls; tint two with red and blue gel food coloring while leaving one bowl white.
Spoon each color into the greased dish, layering them atop the white batter. Bake for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool for 10 minutes, then poke holes evenly across the surface using a wooden spoon.
In a medium bowl, whisk together milk and pudding mixes until thickened. Pour over the cooled cake.
Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes before topping with Cool Whip and sprinkles.
