  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup cold unsalted butter
  • 1 large egg (lightly beaten)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix peaches with lemon juice, flour, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg to create the filling.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon for the crust. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
  4. Press two-thirds of the mixture into the prepared dish as the base. Spread peach filling over it and top with remaining crumble.
  5. Bake for about 60 minutes until golden brown. Let cool before slicing into squares.
