  • 1 1/4 cups cold unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for filling)
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (for filling)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (for filling)
  • 5 cups pitted, peeled, and chopped peaches
  • 6 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9×13-inch pan.
  2. In a food processor, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add cold butter cubes and pulse until crumbly.
  3. Reserve some mixture for streusel; press the rest into the prepared pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
  4. Combine filling ingredients: sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt, peaches, cream, and vanilla in a bowl.
  5. Pour the peach mixture over the baked crust. Sprinkle reserved streusel on top.
  6. Bake for an additional 45 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
