  • 1.3 pounds ground beef
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp dried onion
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 yellow onion (diced)
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 3 cups spinach
  • ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes (drained, chopped)
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, dried onion, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined and shape into four patties.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the patties for about five minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. Add salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, tomato paste, heavy cream, and spinach. Stir until spinach wilts.
  4. Return the patties to the skillet and let simmer for five more minutes to absorb flavors.
