  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • ÂĽ tsp almond extract (optional)
  • 54 g (â…“ cup) Christmas jimmies sprinkles
  • 283 g (1ÂĽ bricks / 10 oz) full-fat cream cheese, softened (68-72°F)
  • 184 g (13 Tbsp) salted butter, softened (68-72°F)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • â…› tsp salt
  • 150 g (1ÂĽ cups) powdered sugar, sifted
  • 80 ml (â…“ cup) heavy cream, very cold
  • 40 g (ÂĽ cup) Christmas sprinkles (jimmies, nonpareils, trees, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a mixer, beat softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; mix until combined.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just mixed. Fold in sprinkles.
  5. Scoop dough onto prepared sheets, flatten slightly, and bake for 9-11 minutes until edges are set.
  6. Cool on racks before frosting with cream cheese mixture topped with extra sprinkles.
